Future Leaders ECO Challenge

Beaconsfield students learning about the liquid gold produced by worms for our gardens.
On Friday 23rd August, fifteen selected Beaconsfield students travelled to Sarina High School to participate in the Future Leader's Eco Challenge (FLEC). The FLEC Challenge involved students learning about a mixture of agricultural and aquacultural activities that help us improve the environment for future generations. During the day students covered a range of topics including - tree planting, animal adaptions, worms, aquaponics and biodiversity. Participating students experienced a great day of real-life environmental learning that they were able to take back and share with their schools.
