Outstanding Wakakirri Performance

Mrs Kris Srsen Performance Director working hard with Beaconsfield students in preparation for the Wakakirri competition.
A truly amazing and mesmerising performance by Beaconsfield students certainly captured the attention of the huge audience at the MECC on Friday night. The students dazzling and colourful performance of the ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ really showcased the artistic and creative talents of the Beaconsfield students.  Parents and family members who attended on the night were extremely proud and amazed by the professional quality of the performers, the props and costumes. Performance Director & Teacher Kris Srsen and her team did an exceptional job with creating an experience of a lifetime that these children will never forget. Beaconsfield school community are very fortunate to have such a committed group of staff, parents and volunteers who made this opportunity possible for their students. Judges acknowledged the Beaconsfield performance for its amazing costumes and musical score as well as the “magic moment on stage “category. The cast of performers were one of the few schools to have a mixture of children from Year 1- 7 included on stage. For those who missed the performance, you will be able to see it when the group perform again as part of the school's Literacy and Numeracy Week celebrations beginning in the week of Monday 25th August. Contact the school for further details.
