All students will engage in the National Curriculum in all year levels and participate in National skills testing in Yr. 3 & 5. 
All students will participate in a rigorous school based assessment and monitoring schedule throughout the year to ensure your child’s academic progress is kept foremost in our minds and informs the teaching and learning process.
Specialised programs to support students with learning difficulties or extend students with gifts and talents are devised and implemented by experienced teachers ensuring that students are challenged and achieving to their potential. 
Our classrooms and facilities offer contemporary learning environments enriched by the latest in technology to enhance learning and provide a portal to the world beyond the four walls of a classroom. 
The education of children needs to be a shared arrangement between family and school in order to be totally effective. The staff of our school looks forward to working with you to provide your children with the very best education.
This website aims to provide parents with the necessary information for you to become active and supportive participants in your child’s life at Beaconsfield State School.  Your involvement in your child’s education will bring untold rewards to your child and to you as parents.
All students will be exposed to a wide variety of extra-curricular and sporting options throughout the school year and these will include:
  • Lunch time organised outdoor games
  • Lunch time clubs: chess, dance, art, japanese, garden club
  • Interschool sporting competitions
  • Regional sporting competitions

  • Intra-school carnivals

  • Swimming safety program

  • Sporting clinics 

  • Excursions 

  • Camping program for Yr. 4-6 students.
